SBR ‘s make me smile…

Good morning all!!!  Yesterday was one of those days that I’ll be smiling about for some time.  Those of you that follow the Blog know that I’ve been carrying a line of custom built rifles from Blackhawk Custom here at Gunshine Arms.  Yesterday the paperwork came through from ATF for me to go pickup my SBR kit.  I had ordered the Blackhawk Custom Charon in .300blkout and added on a .223wylde upper to go along with it.  The .300blkout barrel is 9″ and the .223wylde upper is 10.3″.  The videos below are of me testing my uppers with the manufacturers lower.  Obviously, my lower doesn’t run full auto (who could afford the ammo bill?).  Take note of the recoil associated with running 125grain .300blkout in full auto in the first video and then in the second video running the 77grain 5.56.  These weapons are available for custom order when you are interested.  They are Class 3 so the standard “pay a bunch of money and then forget about them” mind set is necessary to maintain sanity.  One day, good news comes in the form of a document from the Federal Government saying you can take your SBR home.  Yesterday was that day for me.  As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
