Rare Find – Colt Anaconda 6″ in .45Colt on 6/21/16…

Good morning all!!!  Any of you who keep an eye on the Colt snake guns know that they are becoming difficult to find.  The Colt Anaconda’s were made from 1990 to 1999 and the overwhelming majority of the wheel guns produced under the name Anaconda were chambered in .44magnum.  In 1993 the Anaconda began to be offered in .45Colt cartridge as well. Its fit and finish resembled an upsized King Cobra married to a ventilated-rib barrel reminiscent of the Python.  The .45colt versions are harder to find than the .44mag versions.  This one sports the 6″ barrel.  The trigger actions on these guns are rated as very high-quality (even more so when compared with todays revolver actions), and the heavy-duty solid construction and weight tends to absorb recoil, making the Anaconda relatively easy to shoot with heavy loads.  For any of my snake gun collectors out there, this should be a no brainer.  Come take a look at her.  As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
