Glock 19 Gen4 Grey Frame & Sig Sauer P238 Extreme 11/13/15…
Good afternoon all and Happy Friday the 13th!!! A couple of nice sidearms to talk about this afternoon. We will get started with old reliable. The GLOCK 19 Gen4 Grey Frame is a nice new variation of the foundation of GLOCK’s lineup. The GLOCK 19 is the most popular frame size and caliber of all of the GLOCK weapons, and with good reason. She is that perfect in between size that allows for concealed carry and also allows for 15+1 capacity and just enough grip to really run rounds through her. Generally, weapons that fall into the concealment category don’t have combat capacity. This is where GLOCK hit a homerun with this weapon. They are unbelievably durable and reliable weapons that can be shot in the harshest of conditions and there isn’t a better DAO striker fired pistol for the same money. The only variation on this one that sets it apart from the standard GLOCK 19 Gen4 is the Grey Frame. If you like the color, you’ll love the weapon.
Next up is a favorite of mine in the Sig Sauer P238 Extreme. These are little micro-1911 pistols chambered in .380acp with a 2.7″ barrel. I own one and I love it. They are Single Action Only pistols so if you are not used to the format, it will take a little time to get the safety mechanism into muscle memory. If you are going to carry it, you don’t want to have think about the safety when you need it. They slip right into a pocket, with the correct pocket holster of course. Hogue G10 Grips give you all the traction you will need for this weapon and they cover a single stack magwell that house included magazines of 6 and 7 rounds. The weapon is an all alloy frame and she comes standard with SigLite Night Sights. These are phenomenal concealed carry weapons. As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
