GLOCK 42 & Springfield XDS45 on 7/15/15…

 

 

Good afternoon all.  A couple more concealed carry gems to round out the afternoon.  The shop received another GLOCK 42 and another Springfield XDS45 in this afternoon.  The GLOCK 42 is simply put one of the best pocket sidearms you will ever find.  She is DAO, chambered in .380acp and has a 3.25″ barrel with two single stack 6 round magazines.  The dimensions make her a good fit in the pocket but the way that this weapon operates makes it a reliable defense weapon.  It may be a small package, but this little weapon is all GLOCK.

 

I’m a fan of the .45acp caliber in general.  It’s always a compromise when you make a .45 into a small frame when it comes to capacity and recoil.  Springfield Armory makes one of the nicest little single stack concealed carry .45’s I’ve shot, and I own one so I shoot it quite a bit.  The Springfield XDS45 is not small enough to go in a pocket but even with the extended magazine (6+1) she disappears into an IWB holster under a t-shirt.  If your concealed carry requirements are a .45 as an IWB weapon with a 7 round capacity, then this is a great option for you.  It’s a LOT of punch in a small package.
