GLOCK 43 and Smith & Wesson MP9 Shield 5/13/15…

 

 

Good afternoon all.  Well, we have two new weapons aimed at the same demographic back in the shop today.  The GLOCK 43 and the Smith & Wesson MP9 Shield.  Both are single stack 9mm pistols and both are designed for concealed carry.  The GLOCK 43 is GLOCK’s shiny new penny in their lineup.  There has been a lot of hype surrounding the release of this weapon just a couple of weeks ago.  The shop has sold 7 of these weapons since its release and the reports back from the shop’s customers have been glowing.  You can see from the photo that the size is roughly the same between the MP9 Shield and the GLOCK 43.  The Smith (7 and 8 round magazines) has the GLOCK beat on capacity (6 round magazines), but the GLOCK is being reported as a much more solid weapon with less felt recoil than the Smith.  I wish I could give you a personal opinion on the GLOCK but I can’t keep them in stock long enough to actually set one aside for me yet.  It’s safe to say that you couldn’t go wrong with either weapon.  More of both of these weapons are already on their way here for Friday and Tuesday deliveries so if these weapons disappear today, don’t worry.
