Walther CCP 9mm & GLOCK 42 on 5/1/15…
Good afternoon all and Happy Friday! Today isn’t just any Friday either. Four years ago today an important event transpired and today (everyday) is a great day to thank a veteran for their service to our country. So, it’s Friday and we have multiple reasons to smile….let’s talk about some great concealed carry weapons that showed up in the shop this morning.
The new face at Gunshine Arms is the Walther CCP. I’ve never even seen one of these before today as Walther advertised two false release dates on this weapon over the last year. The wait appears to have been worth it. This is a slim single stack, compact 9mm sidearm with all rounded edges on it making it an ideal concealed carry weapon. Not quite small enough for a pocket but right in that nice disappearing inside a waste band zone of frame sizes. 8+1 capacity and a very ergonomically friendly grip combine with something Walther calls Softcoil technology to make a very nice little weapon. My only gripe is that it has a manual safety, but that is a positive point for some people.
Next up, we have the GLOCK 42. I own one of these little pocket pistols and I can’t say enough nice things about them. Slim, small, easy to shoot, easy to maintain, and easy on the budget are some of the things that make this little .380acp weapon a winner in my book. Outstanding little concealed carry weapon for any type of clothes you might be wearing.
As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
