Late Edition New Sidearms on 12/04/14…

Good evening all.  Sorry about the late post but today would not cooperate with me writing until this moment.  We got a small batch of some awesome sidearms today so let’s get started!

First up is a great find for you GLOCK aficionados out there.  We received the GLOCK 17RTF2 today.  This is a collaboration between GLOCK, Larry Vickers, Wilson Combat and Tango Down.  Now that’s a mouthful for a GLOCK!  There will only be 2,500 made of each frame size and we have the 17 frame version in the shop NOW.  RTF stands for Rough Textured Frame and the grip on this weapon is awesome.  She has Wilson Combat Tritium Night Sights and comes with Oversized Mag Release, Oversized Slide Release, and all of the upgrade components are made by Tango Down for Larry Vickers.  This thing is badass!

Next up, we have a variant of one of my favorite wheel guns in the Smith & Wesson 686+ .357mag with a 2.5″ barrel.  This is an L Frame with a 2.5″ barrel and it doesn’t seem odd or disproportionate in your hands at all.  She has the 7 shot cylinder and puts a smile on my face every time I look at her.

Last, but not least, is the new addition from Springfield Armory that we have all been getting emails non-stop about for the last 2 months.  Meet the Springfield XD Mod. 2 9mm in the sub-compact frame size.  As someone that owned one of the original XD pistols when they were first released, it’s kinda nice to see them still evolving the old line.  Upgrades are easily seen in the grip profile, and finally bringing in the sights from the XDS series backward to the XD line.  She comes with the normal suit case full of goodies and is priced to put a smile on your face!
