Holy Humpday Handguns on 12/3/14…

Good evening all.  We received a nice inbound shipment of handguns.  There are quite a few to go through and more on the way tomorrow as well.  We are going to start with the 1911’s as these are some of my favorites.

First up, we have two entries from Sig Sauer.  Let’s start with the 1911 Traditional Tacops for Sig Sauer.  The Traditional Tacops is a 5″ barreled .45acp that features the recognizable “round-top” 1911 slide profile, front cocking serrations, black Nitron finish, Ambi safety, Magwell Ergo XT grips, and a M1913 rail. Standard on all models are a match-grade barrel, flat mainspring housing and speed bump grip safety. Front straps have 25LPI checking and the mainspring housing has 20LPI for optimum grip and user comfort.  She comes with Siglite Night Sights and four 8 round magazines!

 

Next is the little brother of the weapon pictured above.  Meet the Sig Sauer 1911 Tacops Carry which comes to you with a 4.2″ barrel in .45acp.  She doesn’t have the dehorned slide like the Traditional Tacops does but she comes to you with all of the other features in a more compact frame while still giving you the four 8 round magazines!

 

Next up, we have a new entry into the 1911 market from Ruger and it looks like they hit a homerun with this weapon.  The Ruger SR1911 Night Watchmen is a TALO Edition handgun and she is packed full of features.  This is a commander size weapon chambered in .45acp.  This sidearm has a stainless frame and slide with a Nitride finish. The grips are an enhanced Micarta.  She comes with an extended thumb safety, oversized beavertail safety, and a skeletonized trigger and hammer.  Top it off with Trijicon Novak Night Sights, and you have one really nice 1911 at a really reasonable price!

 

Next up, we have another VP9 from Heckler & Koch.  These have been hard to keep in stock.  Phenomenal striker fired, double action only 9mm pistols from H&K with the same grip profile as the P30 series of pistols.  Great price point for a great weapon.

 

Next up, we have a favorite of mine from a pure brute force perspective.  The Smith & Wesson Governor is a 6 shot revolver that fires .410 ga shotgun shells, .45 Colt, and comes with moon clips for use with .45acp.  If you are looking for a center console or night stand weapon and have the wrist strength to unleash this baby, there really is no substitute.

 

To close out the night, we have some very nice .22lr target pistols.  The first is from Beretta and it’s the U22 Neos.  Yes, it looks like something out of Star Wars but what a great weapon to shoot.  This one has a 6″ barrel and a full length rail up top for use with the optic of your choice.  Outstanding target handguns at an unbelievably low price.

 

The last .22lr is a favorite of the Gunshine clientele in the Ruger SR22.  Whether you are looking to plink or target shoot, this is an economical and fun handgun to own.
