Election Day Handgun Bonanza 11/4/14…

Good evening all.  Sorry for the late post, but it is Election Day and we all need to find time to vote!  We received quite a few handguns in today to add to the inventory and there is quite a bit more inbound this week.  There are seven new handguns to go through and it’s late so you are going to get the abbreviated version tonight.

First up, is the Smith & Wesson Model 637 PC Gunsmoke Edition.  This is a 5 shot .38spl (+P) with a Performance Center tuned action and the Wyatt Deep Cover grips (they have a built in belt clip) that make it unnecessary to use a holster when you tuck it into your waistband if you subscribe to that sort of thing.  I personally like knowing that there is something covering both sides of the trigger when I stick a firearm inside my pants, but people love these things.  Go figure.

 

Next handgun up, we have the Ruger SR22 pistol.  This is a DA/SA hammer fired pistol that is chambered in .22lr and she comes with three 10rd magazines.  This is a great all around plinker and she comes at a great price.

 

Next handgun up, is the Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield.  This is a very well made, and economical, single stack concealed carry 9mm pistol.  She is striker fired and DAO, and comes with one 8rd and one 7rd magazine.  Great value for your money here.

 

Next up, we have another GLOCK 17L.  This is the version of the GLOCK 17 that comes with the 6″ Barrel.  I really don’t think anything else needs to be said.

 

Next handgun up, we have the FNX-9 from FN USA.  This is a hammer fired DA/SA pistol, chambered in 9mm that comes with three 15rd magazines.  She has a decocker and can be carried cocked and locked.  For those of you who have shot the FNX line of pistols, you know that the low bore axis equates to very little felt recoil which makes for very accurate 2nd and 3rd shots.  This one comes with tritium night sights.  These weapons are a favorite of mine to shoot.

Next handgun up, we have the new H&K VP9 striker fired pistol.  She is DAO and comes with two 15rd magazines.  These weapons are the talk of the industry these days, and with good reason.  The price point of these weapons when combined with the quality of H&K manufacturing makes them impossible to keep in stock. 

 

Finally, we have a Ruger LCR chambered in .22magnum.  This is a six shot hammerless snub nose revolver and she is a joy to shoot.  The .22magnum round has little recoil, decent stopping power, a report you can here from space and she blows fire like a dragon.  That all equals fun in my book.
