New COLT Lightweight Commander Elite .45acp on 6/13/14…

Good afternoon all.  It’s been a good day on the Blog and we are not slowing down now.  We received a new TALO Colt Lightweight Commander Elite chambered in .45acp this afternoon.  These weapons just started shipping from Colt and they are a limited production run with special serial numbers.  Colt doesn’t even have this weapon on their website.  She features a double serrated Black Ion Bond Slide and a lightweight alloy frame that is Cerakoted.  This is the 4.25″ barrel that is standard on the Commander size frames giving her an overall length of 7.75″.  She comes with Trijicon Novak Nite Sights, an enhanced hammer, ambidextrous thumb safety controls, and some uncharacteristically comfortable black hardwood grips.  This weapon is an example of what gave Colt it’s name over the years.  This is one well put together sidearm.
