Great new sidearms including Gen4 GLOCK 19 FDE and Ruger 22/45 Lite Cobalt 3/28/14…

Good afternoon all.  We received some great new sidearms today and they came in pairs.  There will another post later about accessories and a new long gun.  Let’s get started.

Today brought a pair of Gen4 GLOCK 19 FDE pistols into the shop and they have consecutive serial numbers for those of you who hunt that sort of thing.  This is GLOCK’s mid-sized frame 9mm pistol and they have Flat Dark Earth frames.  As they are Generation 4 weapons, they come with three 15 round magazines and multiple back straps that allow you to customize the grip profile to fit your hand.  The Gen4 GLOCKs also come with the double recoil spring which reduces felt recoil significantly from the previous Gen3 weapons.  The GLOCK 19 is the most versatile of the GLOCK weapons in my opinion as they are small enough to conceal, yet large enough to run lots of rounds through at the range and not beat your hand up.  It’s hard to argue with a 16 round capacity in something that is fairly easy to conceal.  These are fantastic weapons.

Next, we received a pair of NEW RELEASE pistols from Ruger today.  These are the Ruger 22/45 Lite Cobalt Anodized Mark III pistols and they are sweet.  These pistols have the same grip angle as the 1911 pistols which make them extremely easy to aim with an adjustable rear sight and fixed front sight.  These weapons come standard with a threaded barrel and an optic rail that can be attached if you choose.  These ladies come with two ten round magazines and sport an rough texture hard rubber grip that cements the weapon into your hand when you pick it up.  If you like the previous versions of the 22/45 Lite, you will love this one.
