GLOCK 20 Gen4 10MM & Ruger 10/22 Takedown Tactical on 2/28/14…

Good afternoon all.  We received two great weapons this afternoon.  We’ll start with the GLOCK as this is the first Gen4 version of the GLOCK 20 we have had in the shop.  This is GLOCKs Full Size 10MM pistol.  The GLOCK 20 Gen4, in 10mm, provides nothing short of massive firepower. The use of GLOCK hi-tech polymer considerably reduces felt recoil. With muzzle energy of 550 ft/lbs and a magazine capacity of 15 rounds, this 10mm is your reliable companion on every hunt. The Gen4 edition now incorporates a wider selection of grip dimensions to make customizing your grip even more precise.  She has an overall length of 8.03″, height of 5.47″, and a width of 1.27″.  This is a large sidearm that is very capable of stopping large game dead in its tracks.  With a barrel length of 4.6″ and a sight radius of 6.77″, she has a great sight picture and plenty of accuracy at distance when combined with the awesome ballistics of the 10MM round.  This weapon is a show stopper as a hunting sidearm.

 

Next, we have our second Ruger 10/22 Takedown Tactical of this week which is crazy as I never saw one of these weapons through all of last year.  If you like the normal 10/22 Takedown, you’ll love this model.  She has upgraded high viz fiber optic rear and front sights, and a threaded barrel with a flash suppressor.  She also comes standard with a BX-25 magazine from Ruger while the normal takedown just comes with the 10 round rotary magazine.  This is an ideal camping/backpack rifle chambered in .22lr and is set up from the factory to be easily suppressed with the correct equipment which we have available here at the shop for qualified buyers.  She’s a beauty and she’s on the wall now.
