New .22LR Rifles in stock including Ruger 10/22 Takedown on 12/23/13…

Hi all.  We received some great .22LR rifles today which make for some great last minute gifts as they aren’t expensive.  We’ll start with the Rugers.  First we, received the Ruger 10/22 Takedown today.  There are a lot of us out there whose first rifle was a Ruger 10/22.  The Ruger 10/22 Takedown adds such a great feature to the traditional rifle in that it breaks down for transport in a simple manner and comes with a nice Ruger carrying case.  Once the magazine is dropped out and the bolt is locked open, ensuring that the weapon is no loaded, all you have to do is push a recessed lever and twist the forward stock and barrel to separate it from the stock and receiver.  You can see what it looks like broken down in the photo below.

Next, we received the Ruger 10/22 Standard Carbine with Stainless Steel Barrel and Receiver, and a very nice wood laminate stock that really catches the eye.  This has all of the standard features of the timeless Ruger 10/22.

 

Finally, we have a shop crowd favorite back in stock again.  The Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 Rifle is back.  Chambered in .22LR, the M&P15-22 rifle is built with high strength polymer upper and lower receivers. This creates a reduced weight rifle that retains the looks and operating features of the standard M&P rifle.  She comes with a 6-position collapsable stock, functioning charging handle, adjustable rear and front sights, two-position receiver mounted safety selector, cartridge case deflector, bolt catch, recessed magazine release button and light weight but high strength polymer quad rail hand guard.  This rifle has a threaded barrel with a flash suppressor and comes standard with a 25 round magazine.  This rifle is easy to use, fun at the range, and easy on the wallet.
