6 New Sidearms at Gunshine Arms including Smith & Wesson 686 Plus 4″ today!
We have lots of new handguns in the shop this afternoon at Gunshine Arms. There are a bunch or Rugers to talk about and a hard to find Glock, but let’s get started with the Smith & Wesson 686 Plus 4″ revolver chambered in .357MAG. Smith & Wesson L-Frame revolvers are built to suit the demands of the most serious firearms enthusiast. The L-Frame has a strong, durable frame and barrel built for continuous Magnum® usage. As police officers and hunters will attest, this firearm is made to withstand heavy use.
The Gen 3 GLOCK 19 is a compact 9mm that can double as a duty or concealed carry pistol. Many who carry a pistol everyday will tell you that if they can only have one, it would be a G19. The compact size GLOCK pistols really hit the sweet spot of being easy to shoot while being quite concealable with the proper holster and apparel. If you are looking to concentrate on one platform to train with and carry, the G19 is hard to beat.
GLOCK revolutionized the handgun market with the debut of their polymer frame safe action semi-auto pistols in 1982. To this day, GLOCK is the brand that all other polymer pistols are judged by. For most of GLOCK’s product life you could have it any way you wanted as long as it was black. There were some OD Green frame Gen 3 guns produced for several years, but they have been discontinued since mid 2010. Now you have a choice of having your GLOCK with a Flat Dark Earth frame.
Next, we have the Rugers. The first Ruger that came in today is the LCR-LM revolver chambered in .38SPL+P that comes from the factory with the Laser Max laser installed. Packed with the latest technological advances and features required by today’s most demanding shooters, the Ruger® LCR® is the evolution of the revolver. The Ruger® LCR® is a lightweight, small-frame revolver with a uniquely smooth trigger and highly manageable recoil.
Next on the Rugers are the SR9’s. We received a full size SR9 and the compact frame SR9C. The Ruger SR9 is perfectly sized to be comfortable and controllable with a slim, ergonomic grip and narrow slide. Featuring a short reach from the backstrap to the trigger, the SR9 creates a comfort level that will challenge any standard-sized, striker-fired pistol available today. The structurally rigid, recoil-reducing, glass-filled nylon frame and alloy or stainless steel slide combine to create a low-maintenance, rugged and reliable handgun. The SR9 packs all of the features required by today’s most demanding shooters, including modern blocker, trigger safety, magazine disconnect, plus a visual and tactile loaded chamber indicator.
The SR9c compact pistol weighs in at 23.40 oz. and features an overall length of 6.85″, a height of 4.61″, and the same slim 1.27″ grip width (across safety levers) as the full-sized SR9. It comes with two magazines that provide options in both capacity and grip size. The standard magazine holds 10 rounds and features a flat bottom butt plate; a finger grip extension floor plate is also included. The second magazine features a grip adapter and holds 17 rounds, instantly transforming the smaller, compact grip into a full-sized 9mm grip. The 3.50″ barreled pistol features an integral accessory rail that accommodates most lights and lasers. Just like the original, full-sized SR9, the SR9c is loaded with modern safety features like a 1911-style ambidextrous manual safety, internal trigger bar interlock and striker blocker, trigger safety, magazine disconnect, plus a visual and tactile loaded chamber indicator.
Finally, we have the Ruger SR45. She comes with two 10rd magazines and all of the features of the other SR pistols. You know my love for .45ACP pistols and this one is no exception. She gets great write ups across the board and testimonials from clients of the shop that have purchased them here are all excellent.
All of the these sidearms will be in the cases and up for sale in the morning. Come on in and take a look around the shop. Thank you for reading the Blog at https://gunshinearms.com
