Sig Sauer X5 9mm Short & Smart 8/1/15…

SIG SAUER P226 X5 SHORT & SMARTGood afternoon all.  Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.  It’s been an interesting week for unicorn Sig Sauer pistols walking through my door and today brought two more.  This post is going to be about the Sig Sauer X5 9mm Short & Smart.  This weapon is NIB (never fired) but has been in the possession of a collector so is “technically” used.  This is another weapon created by the Sig Sauer Master Shop in Germany.  You may remember that two days ago, the X5 Lightweight wandered into the shop.  Well, this is it’s shorter heavier little brother.  This is a shortened X5 stainless frame which gives you a 4.4″ barrel instead the standard 5″.  She sports a fully adjustable single action trigger which can be modified for both trigger position (gradations of forward to rear) and the actual poundage of the trigger pull itself.  She has a frame mounted ambidextrous safety.  The grips are smooth but contoured and made out of beautiful multicolored wood laminate.  They cover a beveled mag well which houses competition 19 round magazines (2 come in the box).  This weapon has everything that came in the case from the Master Shop in Germany as well as the cardboard box that the case was shipped in from when it was produced on July 09 of 2013.  These weapons are no longer imported into the United States.  As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
