Sig Sauer X-Five Lightweight 9mm 7/30/15…

SIG SAUER X5 LIGHTWEIGHTGood afternoon all.  It’s been getting interesting with the used weapons again.  Today brought a Sig Sauer X-Five Lightweight 9mm into the shop.  She’s got rounds through her but is in pristine shape.   This weapon was made in the Sig Sauer Master Shop in Germany in March of 2014 and imported here into the United States.  There is a lot going on with this weapon so let’s get to the details.  She sits on a Lightweight aluminum beavertail frame that comes with a picatinny rail up front and the slide is stainless steel with front and rear cocking serrations.  The X-Five has a 5″ barrel and comes with low profile integrated adjustable competition sights.  In the box are two allen keys.  These are for the fully adjustable single action trigger which can be modified for both trigger position (gradations of forward to rear) and the actual poundage of the trigger pull itself.  This means that the overall pull can be set from “somewhat reasonable” to “trigger discipline is a necessity”.  She has a frame mounted ambidextrous safety.  The grips are ergonomically amazing and made out of beautiful hardwood.  They cover a beveled mag well which houses competition 19 round magazines (2 come in the box).  This weapon has everything that came in the case from the Master Shop in Germany as well as the cardboard box that the case was shipped in.  Unbelievably clean inside and out, as a weapon of this caliber should be.

As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
