New Springfield Armory XDM-45 4.5″ Pistol at Gunshine Arms on 3/21/14…

Good afternoon all.  We received a very well put together new sidearm this morning.  The Springfield Armory XDM-45 4.5″ pistol offers a lot for someone looking for a full size .45acp.  This is a double action only pistol that has a capacity of 13 + 1 rounds and comes with two magazines.  With a 4.5″ barrel and an overall length of 8″ combined with a height of 5.75″, she boasts about as stable a platform for .45acp as can be found.  The weight while empty is 31oz.  When you combine the size and weight of this sidearm, it is obviously not for someone with small hands.  Springfield builds in some nice safety features into their XDM line including the Grip Safety that you can find on all of their weapons (similar in design to the 1911 grip safety), and what they call the USA trigger.  The Ultra Safety Assurance USA Trigger System guards against accidental discharge from dropping or bumping by locking the XD’s trigger in place until direct, rearward pressure is applied.  She also comes with a Kydex Holster and Magazine Carrier.  These are great firearms that come with a lot of accessories in the box at a great price.
