New long guns today including Remington 870 Express 12ga. – 11/27/13
We’ve got some familiar long guns back in the shop this morning. These all fall under the “shop favorites” category with out clients. Let’s get started.
First, we have the Remington 870 Express 12ga. Shotgun with the breacher muzzle brake on the end. Remington tactical shotguns are rugged, ultra-dependable and continually evolve as they’re called to serve in new, increasingly demanding environments. Built on our legendary pump action that’s become the gold standard for high-risk applications, the Model 870™ express Tactical has a quick pointing 18 1/2″ barrel and includes our extended ported Tactical Rem Choke. It packs a full 7 rounds of 2 3/4″ or 3″ 12-gauge firepower with the factory installed 2-shot extension.
Next, we have the Henry Repeating Arms H001T Lever Action Rifle chambered in .22lr with the Octagon Barrel. Like stagecoaches, swinging saloon doors and Pony Express riders, there are many innovations of the Old West that have long faded from use and live on only in Western movies and history books. But there are still a few frontier staples that were so effective and ahead of their time that they remain in use today. Take, for instance, the intimidating octagonal barrels commonly found on the repeating rifles of that period. These heavy-duty workhorses sported added mass and extra weight to aid in heat absorption, making them the forerunners to the bull barrels used on modern target and varmint rifles. This traditional look was rounded out with an easy-to-adjust Marbles semi-buckhorn rear sight with a diamond insert and a highly visible brass beaded front sight seated in standard 3/8″ dovetail slots. A metal barrel band secures both the barrel and the high-capacity tubular magazine to the highgrade American walnut stock. The receiver is drilled and tapped so that you can add an optic to the rifle. The tubular magazine will hold 16 rounds of .22lr or 22 rounds of .22 short. These rifles are fantastic.
Finally, we have a set of the popular Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 Rifles. The M&P15 rifle line has expanded to now include the new M&P15-22. Chambered in .22LR, the M&P15-22 rifle is built with high strength polymer upper and lower receivers. This creates a reduced weight rifle that retains the looks and operating features of the standard M&P rifle. They will eat just about any .22lr ammunition you can feed them and continue to spit lead out the front and brass out the side. So many .22’s are picky with the ammo they will cycle these days. If the rounds you run through it have enough powder to blow that bolt back and cycle another round, she’ll feed them all day long.
We have some more inventory coming in this afternoon. Don’t forget about the Black Friday Sale this week. As always, thank you for reading the Blog at https://gunshinearms.com
