New GLOCK 34 MOS and GLOCK 41 Gen4 5/26/15…

GLOCK 34 MOSGood afternoon all.  We have a bunch of sidearms to talk about today but this GLOCK 34 MOS SLIDEpost is just going to be about GLOCK.  Two new pistols in this afternoon and one of them is new to me and to the shop so we are going to start there.  The GLOCK 34 MOS (Modular Optics System) is in the display case as I write.  The Gen4 GLOCK 34 is generally referred to as “Practical Tactical” for its reasonable price point and out of the box functionality within many of the pistol competition circuits.  Adjustable sights, three 17 round magazines, modular backstraps, and a 5.32″ barrel that resides inside a slide that has been lightened by carving out a chunk of it make this weapon a very affordable race gun.  The new addition here is the Modular Optics System which allows the operator to add and change between some of the most popular handgun optics on the market with ease, and few tools.  The different plates that come with the weapon will facilitate the installation of optics from EOTECH, DOCTER, INSIGHT, MEOPTA, TRIJICON RMR, C-MORE, and LEUPOLD DELTA POINT.  These optics add that reflex red dot, quick target acquisition aspect to the GLOCK pistols repertoire of characteristics.

GLOCK 41 GEN4Next up is a favorite of mine in the Gen4 GLOCK 41.  This is a .45acp sidearm with a 5.31″ barrel, three 13 round magazines, and the modular backstrap system for grip customization.  This weapon just always felt right in my hand and I love the .45acp caliber.  She shoots like a dream.  If you are in the market for a .45acp sidearm that you have no intention of ever trying to conceal, I would suggest taking a look at the GLOCK 41.  It will put a smile on your face.
