Lots of new inventory including Ruger Mini 14 Tactical on 11/6/13…

Good afternoon all.  We got some great inventory in today.  Let’s get started!

First, and it’s a first for the shop, is a Ruger Mini 14 Tactical.  The Ruger Mini 14 has been in production for about 35 years now and the design has been loved and in heavy use for all of that time.  The Ruger Mini 14 Tactical is the newest iteration of that design and it’s all about business!  The stock is a black synthetic and it is both collapsable and folding.  She has adjustable rear sights and a Blade front sight.  The overall length of the rifle is 34″ but can be reduced to 27″ with stock folded over.  The barrel length is 16.12″ and the barrel is threaded with a flash suppressor on it.  The finish is Blued and the weight is just over 7 lbs.  She comes with two 20 round magazine but 30 rounders are available.  Scope rings and rails come with the weapon.  The Ruger Mini 14 Tactical is specifically designed for mounting today’s scopes or other optical sighting systems.  These rifles include a side ejection to clear the top mounted scope, and a patented recoil buffer which protects the scope from damage or shifting the point of impact as the semi-automatic action cycles.  If you don’t own one of these rifles, you should.

Sticking with the Ruger theme today, we received a really unique revolver.  The Ruger Super Blackhawk Revolver chambered in .44mag.  She has a stainless steel finish with at 10.5″ barrel (that is not a misprint) and sports the square trigger guard.  This weapon is single action only.

One last Ruger today, but it certainly isn’t least.  The Ruger GP100 .357 magnum finished in stainless steel with a 4″ barrel.  Ruger GP100 double-action revolvers are among the most comfortable shooting revolvers. Their rugged, medium-sized frame and cushioned grip system permit repeated firings with minimal shooter fatigue.  Easy on the hand and budget, all GP100 revolvers boast solid steel sidewalls (no side-plates), and frame widths that are increased with extra steel in critical areas that support the barrel, making them rugged, reliable, and dependable.  This is a real combat magnum that will rival any .357 still in production.

Next, we have the Colt Combat Elite 1911 chambered in .45acp.  This classic pistol is built with exciting features desired by the combat-style match shooter, along with the quality and reliability they demand. A great addition for any collector or avid shooter, features include half checkered and half smooth rosewood grips embossed with the Colt logo, a Colt Upswept Beavertail Grip Safety with Palm Swell, a Colt Single Side Tactical Safety Lock, a National Match® Barrel, Novak® sights and other standard features of the XSE Series. The heart and soul of the Combat Elite pistol is still derived from its forged steel receiver, forged steel slide, forged stainless steel barrel and forged steel slide stop.

Lastly, we received a great little concealed carry weapon today, the Walther PK380.  The PK380 is not just good looking. It is small and good looking. That makes the PK380 excellent for concealed carry. Its small grip is ideal for shooters with small hands. The slide is easy to operate, making it a good choice for people with weaker hands. The light weight goes unnoticed in a pocket or purse. Credit Walther Performance Design for another hit. Small is indeed beautiful.
