Consecutive GLOCK 42’s, Ruger LC9S Pro and LCP on 1/29/15…

Good afternoon all.  The shop received some nice concealed carry options in today.  We are going to get started with the GLOCK 42’s as this is a weapon that I own and enjoy.  This morning brought a pair of them with consecutive serial numbers for those of you who might want a his and her pair with Valentines Day rapidly approaching.  GLOCK hit a homer with the model 42.  She is just small enough to fit in a pocket and not get caught up if you need to draw in a hurry.  Unlike most small .380acp pistols, she loves to be run at the range.  Just remember, the ammunition needs to be 95gr or higher for this weapon to cycle properly.

Next up, we have two weapons from Ruger that are both designed as excellent concealed carry options.  The Ruger LC9S Pro is a new release from Ruger and it follows along the striker fired variant of the LC9 that was released last year.  The Pro model lacks an external manual safety (which I like for concealed carry) and has the ability to fire without a magazine in the weapon.  The trigger on this weapon has a smooth short travel with an extremely clean break on it.  This weapon is really not for a beginner but packs a lot of weapon into a cheap price tag.  Lastly, we have the Ruger LCP.  This is a purpose built .380acp pocket pistol.  She is reliable and unbelievably small and light.  Not a fun weapon to shoot at the range, but you won’t get any more comfortable of a carry and she will do what you need her to when you need her to.  Nice weapon at a nice price as well.
